Alessandro Cazzato (1988) graduated and specialized "cum laude" in Violin with Franco Mezzena and Felix Ayo. He performed solo concerts in major Concert Halls and Festivals in Italy and abroad: Carnegie Hall NYC, New York Philharmonic Biennial, Spectrum NYC, "NYC Electroacoustic Music Festival", “Flatus – International Music Festival” of Sion, LAC Lugano, “Euro Arts"  International Music Fondation, Hochschule für Musik of Leipzig, Grosser Saal Gürzenich of Köln, Theatre Euskalduna of Bilbao, Theatre Petruzzelli and "Camerata Musicale Barese", Auditorium "Juan Victoria" of San Juan, "Universidad de las Artes" Buenos Aires, Festival "SoundThought" and "Center for Contemporary Arts" Glasgow, "Museu Condes de Castro" Lisbon and "University of Arts" Aveiro and Evora,  E.S.T.A., Festival “Valle d’Itria”, International Festival "Il Suono Italiano", SIMC (Italian Society for Contemporary Music), Milano Classica, International Festival of Arts "RuidalSud", University Tor Vergata Rome, Lucca International Festival, Municipal Conservatory of Thermi/Thessaloniki, IIC - Institute of Italian Culture of NYC, etc.

As soloist, he has recently performed Mozart Violin Concerto n. 5 K 219, Mendelssohn Violin Concerto op. 64 with Philharmonic Orchestra “Mihail Jora” of Bacau. He performed the integral of J. S. Bach Sonate und Partite BWV 1001-1006 for solo violin. His repertoire spans from baroque to contemporary music, collaborating with well-known Italian and foreign composers.

He founded the Entr'Acte Strings Orchestra with which he recorded CDs dedicated to Antonio Vivaldi and Johann Sebastian Bach (Soundiff Records). He recorded CD "Rewritings for solo violin" dedicated to contemporary music published by Tactus - The Italian Classic Music Label.

Graduated “cum laude” in Letters at the University "Aldo Moro" of Bari (It), he has written appreciated essays and papers on Music and Literature published by Edition Aracne, Zecchini Press, Florestano Press. His works are reviewed on important magazines ("Venezia Musica", "Musica", Radio RSI – Radio Svizzera Italiana, etc.).

He is  Artistic Director of "Archimie" - Strings Academy and Music Association.  

He devotes also to teaching. He held courses and seminaries on Violin, Chamber Music, Contemporary Violin Performance and on relationship between Music and Poetry. He has been invited to take part in juries of International Competitions.

He actually teaches Violin at the Conservatory "Fausto Torrefranca" - Vibo Valentia (It).
